Sleep medications Increase Risk of Alzheimer's

Be cautious about taking sleeping pills, hayfever pills and antidepressants. If taken carelessly, increases the risk of Alzheimer's.

Researchers found a strong relationship between dementia experienced by parents and anticholinergic drugs, which include the antihistamine Benadryl and Prition, as well as Nytol sleeping pills and antidepressants sejumalh. 1. At least taking anti-depressant medication doxepin 10 milligrams per day.
2. Four milligrams per day of Nytol and Benadryl, and
3. Five milligrams of oxybutynin (Ditropan) per day for overactive bladder.

For those who use these drugs with higher doses, increasing the risk of dementia by 54 percent after seven years compared to those who did not use it at all.
